It was Ramboy's first birthday party, and after seeing his mom obsess over the birthday preparations for the past few months, I just had to see the final outcome:p

Afterwards, G and I spent the whole day just looking at the home and appliances section to satisfy our nesting instincts. His was appliances and cookware, while mine was house stuff.

Someone was vastly amused

Tee-hee :)
I ended up buying this fabric box which can be stored under the bed (but which I'll use to organize the stuff inside my closet).
Question though, why are bedsheets so expensive?!
A flat bedsheet costs around Php500 and duvet sets are from Php2,000 upwards. Aren't those just plain fabrics?
Even the bedding sets (1 flat sheet, 1 fitted sheet and 2 pillow cases) in Amazon range from $50 upwards. yikes! No wonder my mom got pissed when I ripped one bedsheet for a Halloween costume years ago:p
Daphne Osena has this bedsheet line in Our Home which I really like but the price ranges from Php4,000 to Php9,000! Yikes!

They're hotel quality sheets with high thread count and I'm sure they're worth every peso, and it doesn't hurt that they're endorsed by Daphne Osena... hehehe. Maybe in the future when I actually have a house and my own bed to adorn with hotel standard sheets, I'll splurge on my very own Daphne Linens.
But for now, patingin-tingin lang muna ako.

If I only have one advice I can give that would be to splurge on anything that does with sleep. A great posturepedic bed, great sheets, a great ergonomic pillow really, really, really is worth the money. Iba talaga tulog mo I swear. Plus to cricks and back pain. The first night on our new queen sized bed (how i wish we had a king now) super ganda ng tulog namin, tuloy tuloy. I just remember laying my head on the pillow and next thing I know I was waking up. Ang sarap.
napapa-assess tuloy ako ng tulog ko ngayon kasi we've always had chipangger sheets and uratex matresses in the house and i've always slept well naman (too well some might even say:p).
pero ibang klase siguro yung feeling hotel bed ka every single night no?
fantastic!
Hi Jill =)
They have 300 threadcount sheets at SM Homeworld (classic elite brand); if you wait for a sale you could get them for only P900.00.
A 700 threadcount Town and Country sheet yata is a little less P4,000. And they're usually on sale.
Unless by high threadcount you mean 1000. =)
ronald: ay no, 400 is already a high thread count for me. hindi ako ambisyosa:p
thanks for the tip! will scope out SM for these.
