The weather finally got to me. Been coughing and sniffling for the past 2 days and everything was much worse early this morning when I got up to get ready for my 7 millionth hearing in Malolos.

So I had to reset the hearing (incidentally, the witness was also sick so the hearing really was gonna get reset even if I didn't get sick) and spent the whole day in my room with the AC turned on.

Cebu will always be about family for me. Family and pigging out.

So when kuya Francis said that he had the weekend off and would be going to Cebu for the holy week and that ate Grace and the Galon bros would be there as well, I seriously did not want to miss out on the reunion.

These are the things I used to take for granted when I was younger because I would automatically get shipped off to Cebu (or Zamboanga) as soon as classes ended, and I'd spend the entire summer with cousins doing absolutely nothing, but still having a blast.

Weird huh?

I doubt that we can spend an entire summer together like before, so all the more that these few days must happen.

Old age is making me soft and weepy. Sniff.

I officially turned 30 today abd it's actually not as painful as some people insinuate because: (1) I don't believe that I have lost my "asim" just because I'm getting older and (2) I don't believe that my body clock is ticking, or even if it is, there's always technology to turn to when it's time to churn out those bambinos and bambinas.

Anyway, small-minded people aside, I've started "training" for next month's Southern race :)

I'm in Day 2 of the Couch to 5k guide.

Or so I thought.

The first 3 days call for 5 minutes of brisk walking as warm-up, then 60 seconds of jogging and 90 seconds of walking to be repeated for 20 minutes to build up endurance.

However, I've been doing 60 seconds of jogging and 3 minutes of walking! Eeeep. No wonder I was like: "This is it?!"

Yeah, I suck in math.

So looks like I'll have to restart the entire program, it's a good thing I'm only 2 days in:p

While I'm ecstatic that Buddy Liway and my neighbor Bheejay (yes, apparently that is his given name:p) made it on that list, I still can't quite believe that someone I was so certain would be there wasn't.

I can't wait for next week! The bosses have declared Wednesday to be a holiday too, so we're starting the holy week break a day early. Yayers!

I also nabbed Toujour Provence for Php150 from Ebay.ph so that's also something to look forward to :)

But I haven't begun my couch to 5k program though, hence must remedy that at once.
