Banana Pancakes: The First Try

I love banana pancakes so I was totally stoked when I saw this recipe at Cat Juan's blog.

The recipe was simple to follow and we had some bananas browning in the ref, thus it was the perfect time to whip up some golden brown pancakes. But to make a long story short, my pancakes were a perfect fail.

House Updates

Notice that my house updates are becoming rarer and rarer? Chalk this up to over-ambitious projects that die a natural death even before they actually begin. Anyway, there will be no more DIY ornate mirror and I've gotten rid of the wood molding by storing it in my parents' bodega (goodbye Php3,000!!), hopefully we can use that when we move to our new house (when and where that will be, nobody really knows).

We finally gave in and bought an inverter aircon for our bedroom and so the AC unit in our bedroom was moved to the empty hole beside G's desk, and the old unit we brought from Sta. Rosa was wheeled to my mom's empty condo unit. Here's how half (1/3?) of our condo unit looked like before:

 

Sweet Sunday

It's always fun hanging out with my favorite girls and last Sunday was no exception as we whipped up a batch of chocolate chip cookies from scratch. Maddie and I already made chocolate chip cookies last Saturday, but she convinced me to make another batch with her yesterday morning. What can I say, I'm a sucker for my nieces:p
